THE MORNCREST DIFFERENCE
Built to hold you, mile after mile
Every car seat leaves two gaps open, behind your neck and along the curve of your lower back. This set fills both and holds them, so a long drive stops turning into a stiff neck and a sore back.
A soft block or a rolled towel slides and flattens. Neither was ever shaped to hold your neck.
Good to know
The stuff people ask us most
Fit, hold, and the long drive. Real answers, no fluff.
Yes. The neck pillow straps on with one elastic band that fits virtually any car headrest. It loops over the headrest posts in seconds, no tools, no clips, no brackets. If your posts sit unusually close together or far apart, message us before you order and we'll help you check.
It stays put. The elastic band holds the pillow snug against the headrest, so it isn't drifting down mid-drive the way a rolled towel or a loose cushion does. Once it's on, you can forget it's there.
That's exactly what it's built for. A factory headrest sits back behind your neck, so on a long drive your head drifts forward to close the gap. The pillow fills that space and meets your neck at its natural angle, so your head rests back instead of reaching forward.
Not too soft, not too firm. We tuned the feel over many versions to land in the middle: cushioned enough to be comfortable for hours, firm enough to actually hold you up instead of letting you sink. The slow-rebound foam molds to you under pressure, then returns to shape.
You can. Both pieces work on a recliner or an office chair when you're off the road, so the set earns its keep at home too. If you sit at a desk all day and want support made for that, take a look at the Morncrest Seat Cushion and Lumbar Support Set. It's shaped for an office chair and the long workday.
The cover is a breathable knit. To keep it fresh, wipe it down with a soft, damp cloth and let it air dry before your next drive.
Maybe a little at first. Natural-rubber foam can carry a faint scent out of the box. Air both pieces out for a day, ideally with the windows down, and it clears.
Worldwide, tracked, usually 5 to 12 days. Orders from $70 ship free.
You're covered for 12 months. If either piece loses its shape in that time, we swap it, one for one. If it turns up damaged or we sent the wrong thing, send a short video and a photo with your order number and we'll ship a new one. No return needed.

Fifty minutes of stop and go both ways. The old gap behind my head had me leaning into the wheel by the time I parked. Head sits back now and I get out of the car loose. Wish I had found it sooner.
gordo_p
Took close to two weeks after a sale, longer than I would like. To their credit support answered every email and kept me updated the whole time. The pillow is fine, does what it should on the commute. Three stars is mostly the wait wearing on me.
Morncrest replied
Close to two weeks is longer than we ever want a sale to cost you, and we hate that the wait wore on you. Thank you for the patience, and glad it is doing its job on the commute now.
Claire, Team Morncrest
Tonya R.
Ten, twelve hour nights behind the wheel. I taped a foam roll to my headrest for years and it always crept down by midnight. This one cinches tight and doesn't budge the whole shift. Wish I'd swapped sooner!
Gail T.
Ordered during the Black Friday rush so it took longer than usual to show up. They sent tracking and answered my email the same day, so I knew where it was the whole time. The pillow itself is great, neck feels good on the drive. Docking a star only for the wait.

tomhartley
The strap keeps it from sliding the way my rolled towel used to. It arrived a few days late since I bought it in the holiday rush, though they let me know ahead of time and kept me posted. Good product, does the job on my routes. Four stars just for the timing
Morncrest replied
Glad the strap fixed the sliding, Tom, that is the exact problem it is built to solve. Sorry the holiday rush slowed the delivery, and thank you for hanging in with us.
Ben, Team Morncrest

45 minutes each way and I'd walk into the office rolling my neck like an old man. Got it Tuesday, two minutes to strap on, and by the end of the week there was nothing to roll. Def recommend if you have a long commute.
mike.callahan
6'5 and no car has ever fit my neck right. My head always hung forward off the rest until it ached. This closes the gap so I can lean back like a normal person. Best thing I have put in this truck.
Hailey Brooks
started my first job in the spring, forty minutes each way. by the second week the commute had my neck tight before i even sat down at work. strapped this on and the tightness eased off within a few drives. went on in seconds too
russ.dean
Bought it in the middle of the holiday rush and it was slow getting here. Support reached out first to tell me it was on the way, which I appreciated. Once it landed it went on quick and holds my head right on the long shifts. The lost star is the shipping, nothing else.
pete1974
We run down to the Gulf every February, two full days of driving. My lower back always quit on me around lunch on day one. Put the cushion in the seat curve and drove both days easy. The wife wants her own now.
-
jpalmer
Fitted both pieces in the parking lot two minutes after opening the box. Strap around the headrest, lumbar where the seat curves, that's it. I drive to the mountains most weekends and by the second hour my head would be hanging off the headrest. First trip with these in, nothing. Got out at the trailhead and skipped my stretch routine bc I didn't need it! Ngl finding my water bottle took longer than the install.
rob.mccoy
Strap it on once and forget it. My neck quit locking up on the drive in.
Danielle_K
Two drop offs and two pickups a day, and my neck was aching by the last one. Strapped this behind my head and it holds right where I need it. First school year the drive home hasn't left me rubbing my neck.
-
kyle.m
Five hours a day between job sites and my lower back was shot by the third one. With the lumbar in I get to the fourth without thinking about it. Ordered during a sale so it came later than I would like, but they emailed first and answered fast. Star off for the wait, not the pillow.
j.whitfield
Four states, a lot of windshield time. My neck used to be the first thing to go around hour two. Now I roll into the last meeting without that stiff turn of the head. Reordered one for the wifes car
Sam Ortiz
The bad stretch for me was always around hour three. Not anymore. Lower back and neck both fine when I pull in.
kenny82
Rough routes all day and it never shifts on me. Best part is my lower back holds up to the last delivery instead of giving out by afternoon!
-
carrie.walsh
Two school runs a day and my neck had nowhere to go, I used a rolled up hoodie for a while. This straps on and doesn't move, at every red light my head just settles into it. My daughter thinks it looks silly. Don't care.
dave_reyes
Drove out to the family for the weekend and back, most comfortable that seat has ever been. neck stayed good the whole way, didnt even think about it
Kevin O.
Grabbed it during a big sale and I think everyone else did too, took a while to arrive. The team replied fast when I checked in and kept me posted. Works great now that it is in, sat back the whole drive to my parents. Just the wait held it back.
Priya N.
For anyone asking, yes it fits a small sedan with the posts close together. Mine does. My drive is about forty minutes and I used to arrive with a sore neck every time. Not now.
MeganL
Tried my sisters on a road trip and slept the whole way there. Ordered mine the next day. The strap is what sold me, it doesn't slide off like the U shaped one I had.
Nina H.
Ordered ahead of a holiday trip and it barely made it in time, the shipping dragged during the rush. They were responsive and reassuring when I reached out, sent tracking twice. Product works well. The stress of the wait is why it is a three.
-
the_burkes
Both front seats done, one set each, so nobody gets the sore neck seat. Four hours on the interstate, nobody asked to swap. Great buy
Cody W.
Drove twelve hours to move my brother and my back was still fine at the end. Used the neck one on the recliner when we got there too, worked great.
frank.dolan
Fits my work truck seat like it was made for it. The lumbar fills the small of my back and holds there over the beat up roads out to the site.
tara_leigh
Ordered off a promo email so shipping ran slower than I hoped. They answered quick and sent a tracking link so I wasn't in the dark. The pillow is well made and my neck is happy on the commute. Four stars for the delay only
theresa_v
My husband and I put one in each seat for the Sunday drive to church. Twenty minutes each way used to leave me with a sore neck. Now we both just sit back and enjoy the ride.
-
NatalieB
No more head bobbing at red lights. The gap is gone!
nate.harmon
drive home at 4am half asleep and my head used to loll forward and jerk me awake. now it rests back against the pillow and the ride is smooth. huge for the late shift
BrandonK
Simple. Strap on, drive, no stiff neck. Should have bought it a year ago.
Marty S.
Came right before Christmas so the mail was backed up and it ran late. Customer service checked in on their own to reassure me it was coming. Fits my truck seat well and the strap stays put. Would have been five if not for the wait.
lucia.marsh
Some days I'm in the car more than the house, one errand into the next. My neck used to be done by the afternoon and I'd finish sore. This holds steady and I got through a whole Saturday of stops without one ache :)
gary1965
Long drive to the lake with the grandkids in back. Snugged the strap before we left and it held the whole way. My back held up better than it has in years.
-
sarah.ln
Bought two sets for the back seat before driving my parents up to the lake, four hours each way. Dad always asks for a stop to stretch his back about two hours in and Mom's neck goes at about the same point. I first saw one on a coworker's headrest in the parking garage, that's how I found Morncrest. Took about six days to arrive and ten minutes to strap both on. Dad didn't say one word about his back the whole way up. The only thing he asked for around hour four was whether we had any trail mix left. Mom wanted the link before we reached the lake. My brother has since borrowed one for his truck so I'm ordering a third set. Great product.
clay.robbins
Shipping was slow after a promo, slower than the site said it would be. Support was good about it, replied fast and let me know it was on the way. Once here it does the job on my shifts. Middle rating because the delivery tested my patience.
Steph R.
Grey matches my interior and it stays put on the highway. Neck feels good after the drive. No notes.
omar_haddad
Eight hours of pickups and drop offs and my neck used to give out halfway through the day. My head rests against this the whole shift now and I reach the end without the ache. Best upgrade I've made to the car.
Kelly Nash
Drove from Ohio to Oregon over four days. My lower back is usually wrecked by day two on a trip like that. Made it the whole way and unpacked the truck without the usual groaning. Sold.
tim.boone
Bought it for the car, ended up using the lumbar on my desk chair all day too. Both spots, back feels supported. Ordering a second lumbar so I am not moving it around
-
walt1961
Hour 8 rest stop, lower back still fine! Unheard of.
gina.pruett
Cyber Monday order, so it sat a few extra days before it shipped. They were quick to answer and friendly when I checked in. No complaints on the pillow itself, my neck rests back nice on the drive. The one star is purely the wait
Vanessa P.
My head finally has somewhere to land!
Raymond L.
Drove for a living thirty years and my neck paid for it. Just do the family drives now, but old habits, I would still finish stiff. This little thing changed that. Should be standard in every car.
doug_h
Cargo van seat is flat as a board. The lumbar gives my lower back the shape it was missing and the neck piece fills that big gap up top. Long days feel a lot shorter now
-
AmandaP
ordered one set first to see if it was worth getting for all three kids. my oldest starts complaining about her neck about two hours into the monthly drive to her aunts so hers went on first. strap took maybe a minute and it sits right where her head ends up when she falls asleep. she did the whole drive last weekend without one complaint, which never really happens. the boys already asked when theirs are coming
BenK
Ordered during their busy stretch and it took longer than the estimate. Support emailed me before I even asked, kept me updated till it landed. Good product, holds my head back where I want it. Just the timing knocked a star.
jenna.cole
twelve hour shifts then a thirty minute drive home. i was arriving with a headache from clenching my neck the whole way. that stopped after a few drives. so glad i grabbed it
Marcus D.
Good product. Fills the gap. Neck stiffness gone. Buy it.
Trish M.
Black Friday order and it sat a while before it moved. The team checked in and kept me posted, which kept me patient. The pillow is comfortable and fits fine. Three stars, and every bit of that is the shipping delay
brad_whitman
This is all about the wait, not the pillow. Ordered during their Black Friday sale and it took over two weeks to arrive, with the tracking stuck on the same status for days. I get that it was a peak time, and their support did keep me posted every time I reached out and never left me hanging. The pillow itself is fine, comfortable and it stays put on the drive. But the shipping was rough enough that I can't rate it higher this time.
Morncrest replied
Two-plus weeks with the tracking frozen is a rough wait, Brad, and Black Friday is no excuse for leaving you hanging that long. Thank you for staying with us and for the fair words on the team. Glad it is holding up on the drive now.
Ben, Team Morncrest
pat_sullivan
Loaded up the whole family for the drive to the campground and put one in every seat. Nobody griped about a stiff neck the whole way, which with this crew is a small miracle. Even got the teenager to admit it was comfy haha
HollyM
Took me a drive or two to get used to the lumbar, it has some real firmness to it. After that I stopped noticing it and my back just felt held up the whole drive. Now I miss it in my other car, so I'm ordering a second.
hannah_royce
Heads up, the grey came out more muted in the car than it looks lit up in the listing photos, a bit flatter than I pictured. Fine by me, it matches my seats, just not the exact shade I had in my head. The support itself is great and my neck feels good after the drive. Four stars for the color surprise.
-
DeniseW
My husband took this through the window because for once I was sitting back. Three kids means the car is my office and by the third errand my neck would ache and I'd drive the rest of the way hunched. A horseshoe travel pillow kept sliding into my shoulders, this one has a strap so it stays. First full week I got to the fifth stop and hadn't thought about my neck once! Kids still argue in the back though lol
Angela T.
Bought grey, matches perfectly. Two minutes to install both. My neck used to crane toward the windshield on the drive in and now it rests back. Little thing, big difference
rick.ferraro
In and out of the seat two hundred times a day. The strap stays snug through all of it. Back is the last thing on my mind now which is how it should be
scott_burke
Fish two hours away most Saturdays, up before dawn. Used to arrive at the ramp already stiff. Not since these went in. Definately more time casting, less time stretching out on the tailgate!
luis.granados
It is a chunky piece, more of it than I pictured when I pulled it out. Works well once it is strapped in and my back likes the lumbar, but if you drive a compact just know it is on the bigger side. Fits mine fine. Dropping a star only so folks picture the size right.
Morncrest replied
Fair heads-up, Luis, it is a chunky piece, and we would rather you picture the size right than be surprised. Glad it fits yours and your back is happy on the drive.
Ben, Team Morncrest

margaret.ann
One each for the two hour Sunday drive to our daughter's. They look like they came with the car. Neither of us touched the recline
Nadia K.
I get carsick on long drives if I slump. Sitting upright and supported against the neck rest has helped me ride better. Grabbed one for my mom too.
jerry1958
Simple to fit, stays where you put it, and the long drive to the cabin doesn't leave me hobbling anymore. What else do you want from it
Brooke L.
strap doesnt slide, head sits back, back feels good. thats the whole review
-
steve.k
Four stores a week across the state, neck stiff before the first door. This has a strap so it stays put where my old folded pillow slid off. Bigger piece than I pictured out of the box, works great once it is in though. Docking one star just so folks expect the size.
carl.mendez
Old seat in my 2009 and the foam gave out years back, nothing left to lean into. This puts the shape right back where it should be. Feels like a new seat under me.
-
maddie_rose
My roommate has one on her passenger headrest and I kept calling shotgun bc of it, so I got my own. New job, first real commute, and I was rubbing my neck at my desk by 9. That stopped after a few drives. Sooo easy to put on too
andre_dupont
It is bulkier than I wanted and takes up more of the seat than I pictured. It does support my back well, no argument there. Just a bigger piece than I would choose again for my small car. Landing at three because the size isn't my preference.
Tyler R.
An hour each way in traffic. My shoulders would be up by my ears by the time I got in. Head resting back has settled the whole thing down. Really glad I tried it
deb_novak
We did the Blue Ridge Parkway last month, lots of hours in the seat. Both of us had our cushions in and neither complained the whole trip. First road trip in a while without the back talk
Pam R.
The headrest strap is longer than I need and there is a bit of extra tail hanging once it is snug. Tucked it and moved on. The pillow does its job, comfortable on the long drive. Minor thing, still glad I bought it
Alan H.
Traffic used to leave my neck sore by the time I got home. This put an end to that.
monica.paz
carpool duty four days a week and my neck was always the price. this holds my head back so i am not straining toward the road. the other moms keep asking about it
WadeK
Motorhome seats are big and flat and my back never liked them. The lumbar fills the hollow and the neck piece takes the strain off. Drove three hundred miles and felt it in a good way, meaning I didn't feel it at all
-
darren82
Ten hour rideshare days, neck was stiff before the dinner rush. Strap holds through every pickup and I clock out fine now tbh
ellie_pruitt
Cutest little thing and it works. Grey looks sharp against my black seats. Neck doesn't ache after the drive anymore. Recommend
dwight82
The first week or so it rode firm, firmer than I usually go for. Then it broke in and molded to my back, and now it sits just right. Fair warning if you want plush, this starts stiff. Four stars only for that break in stretch.
Morncrest replied
That break-in is the slow-rebound foam finding your shape, Dwight, and you described how it settles exactly right. Glad it is holding your back the way you want now.
Claire, Team Morncrest
ron.castillo
Live out of my car Monday through Friday. This is the first thing that stays put and does the job. Ordered one for the loaner too.
-
Rob_Gardner
Let my wife try mine riding shotgun and ngl I never got it back. Ordered a second set the next day. Three hours up the coast and she's asleep against hers and nobody is arguing about the radio. My neck is fine too. Good stuff
Kayla R.
Runs firm. It has softened some but it is still firmer than I like, and I prefer a plush feel. Works fine and stays put, my back is supported. Three stars is a personal taste thing on the firmness more than anything wrong with it
Morncrest replied
It does run firm on purpose, Kayla. Slow-rebound foam holds you up on a long drive instead of packing down, so it will not feel plush, and we hear you that plush is what you like. Thank you for the honest note.
Rachel, Team Morncrest
Krista M.
Was skeptical a strap on pillow would do much. Two drives in and I was leaning back the whole way without that fight to keep my head up. Believer now!
phil_barron
Drove the grandkids six hours to the coast. One stop. My wife looked over halfway and asked why I wasn't shifting around like I always do. Because my back was fine, thats why
Erica L.
The beige is a touch warmer and creamier than the listing photo, more of an ivory. Looks nice with my interior anyway. Neck support is solid, no aches on the drive. Only reason it is four is the shade being off from what I expected
Jasmine O.
airport runs back to back, sometimes twenty a day. my neck used to seize up around the afternoon rush and stay sore for hours after. this holds my head propped where i want it and the last run feels like the first now. quick to strap on and worth it
lenny73
Bought one. Bought another for my wife two days later. That should tell you enough.
-
JakeW
Potholes on the east side of my route shake everything loose by about the tenth stop. Three weeks in and the strap hasn't slipped once! Lower back holds up the whole shift too, which is not something I'm used to :)
Cara W.
I am always the one who falls asleep on trips and wakes up with a crick from my head flopping over. Not with this. Head stays put and I wake up fine. Finally.
-
chris_t
Firmer than I expected the first few drives. Had memory foam before so I figured it would break in, and it did. Fits the headrest well and holds my head back nice now. Four stars only for that stiff first impression.
dom.russo
Beefy lumbar support that doesn't quit halfway through the drive like the inflatable one I used to have. Sits in the curve and stays. Really solid
Sherry L.
We drive up to the kids once a month, about five hours. My neck was always the sore spot the next morning. Slept fine after the last drive. The strap makes the difference, it doesn't wander
travis_kohl
fits, stays, works. neck good, back good. what more is there
-
erin_mcc
Someone asked if it fits a headrest with the posts close together. Mine is a small sedan and it does. My commute to the hospital is about 45 minutes and my lower back would ache by exit 12 and my neck by the parking garage. Put both pieces in on a Monday and by Friday I drove past exit 12 without noticing. The lumbar is firmer than I expected, took a couple drives and then it kinda just disappeared. 10/10
sean.mcbride
Grey came out lighter than I thought it would, closer to a soft dove than the gray in the pictures. Fine by me once it was in the car. Comfortable and stays put. Star off only for the color being different than expected
Maya R.
New car, great seats, but that gap behind the neck was still there on the highway. This closed it up. Grey blends right in. No more reaching my head forward to get comfy
warren.simmons
The grey is darker than the photos led me to believe, almost a charcoal, and it is a bit off against my lighter seats. The support is good and it stays where I strap it. Three because the color really wasn't what I ordered in my head.
Morncrest replied
You have it right, Warren, the grey can read deeper than the screen shows, closer to charcoal in some light. Sorry it threw you against the lighter seats. Glad the support and the strap are holding up.
Rachel, Team Morncrest
ed.whalen
Rough haul roads all day and the strap never slips. Lower back holds up til quitting time. That is the whole ballgame for me
Bianca T.
Grabbed the beige and it looks like it belongs in my car. The neck piece took my head off the windshield lean I didn't even know I was doing. Drive feels easier now
-
papadale61
Six hours to the grandkids and one stop, for coffee.
Rachel V.
The lumbar ridge is more pronounced than I pictured, you really feel it in your lower back the first time. Grew on me fast and now I like it, but it is noticeable at first. Good product overall, just setting expectations.
joel_ramsey
Ten hour drive to Colorado with these in. First time in memory I didn't need to pull over and walk around to unlock my back. Used the neck one on the hotel chair too haha
Colleen H.
Two minutes to put on, stays where I strap it, and my neck doesn't ache on the drive in. Simple and it does exactly what it says!
