WHY MORNCREST
Built to hold your head up
Most travel pillows go soft and let your head fall. Ours holds.
Support that stays firm, hour after hour, flight after flight.
Good to know
The stuff people ask us most
The fit, the packing, and delivery. Real answers, no fluff.
That's the whole point. The ring supports four zones around your neck: your nape, both sides, and your chin. It keeps your spine straight, so your head stays put when you doze.
Pull the toggle to tighten the ring and it closes snug to any neck. One size, you set the fit, so there's no gap for your head to slip through.
Comfortable for the long haul. The slow-rebound foam molds to your neck and springs back, with no hard spots. It holds up flight after flight without going flat.
No. The Ice-Silk knit cover stays cool and soft to the touch, even through a long-haul night.
Phone size. It rolls into a round case in seconds, and the strap snaps it onto your suitcase handle. It rides along outside instead of filling your bag.
No pump, no blowing it up, no deflating at the gate. It's natural-rubber memory foam. Pull it from the case and it's ready.
Yes. Car, bus, train, passenger seat, desk nap. Anywhere you sleep upright, it works the same.
Maybe a little at first, like most memory foam does. Air it out for a day and the scent is gone.
Worldwide, tracked, usually 5 to 12 days. Orders from $70 ship free.
12 months. If the pillow loses its shape in that time, we swap it. And if it turns up damaged, just send a video and a photo, plus your order number, and we'll ship a new one. No return needed.
Still curious? Talk to us on Instagram. Real humans, well rested.

Three flights a week for work and my old inflatable one lived at the bottom of my tote bc blowing it up at the gate is embarrassing. This one goes on at security and stays on until I land. Plane was pulling in behind me. Love it
d_whitfield
Almost twelve days before it showed, and yeah I was on that tracking page way too often. Emailed them and got a reply the same morning, no runaround at least. Pillow's firm and my head stays where it should once I'm actually on the plane. Point is I wanted it before the trip, not the week after.
Morncrest replied
Twelve days is the far end of what we quote and we hate cutting it that close, so thank you for the patience. Firm and holding your head is the part we build for.
Claire, Team Morncrest

kelsey_rae
Head never dropped once on a 6 hour flight tbh.
theo_marsh
Flew a red eye and actually landed rested, first time in years ngl.
jen_halvorsen
Turned up about a week later than I'd wanted, and my trip was days away, so I spent that stretch kind of anxious. They did reach out first and kept checking in, which helped. Nine hour flight and my head stayed put, got off without the stiff neck. Docking a star for the wait, that's it.
Morncrest replied
Cutting it close to a trip is exactly when a delay stings most, Jen. Thanks for hanging in, and we're glad the flight itself went easy.
Claire, Team Morncrest
sunil_rao
Ten stops of sleep on the morning train and no stiff neck at the office.
-
imani.writes
Quarter close means 11 hour days. Fifteen minutes in my chair with this after lunch and my neck isn't locked up all afternoon
dede_k
My old blow up one always went soft by hour two and I'd be topping it off with my mouth. This one just holds!
-
TravisK
Arrived a week late, support kept me posted. Good pillow.
marcus_bell
I run hot and long flights used to leave the back of my neck damp. The cover on this stays cool the whole way, and my head doesn't slide forward on me anymore.
-
bigjim_w
Nine hours to the grandkids and I ride shotgun the whole way. Every bump used to bounce my head off the window and wake me. With this on I slept through two states and my wife had to poke me at the exit. Firmer than it looks.
gaby_ruiz
Had a bead one that went flat and lumpy inside a year. This keeps its shape flight after flight, def glad I switched.
p.donnelly
i keep it on my desk for lunch naps. twenty minutes with it on and my neck isnt wrecked for the afternoon meetings.
-
danny.chen
Yes it's bigger than the horseshoe kind, that's the whole point. Flew with one of those for like 5 years and it folded in half the second I leaned on it. This holds its shape and my head kinda just stays put. Big fan
big_reggie
I've got a thick neck and most of these ring pillows sit way too loose and fall off the second I turn. The drawstring pulls it snug so it stays put. Slept most of a six hour flight without it slipping. Worth it, and it finally fits me.
marion_pace
Took it on the coach tour and napped between every stop without waking up with my chin on my chest.
-
Leanne_M
Three kids so I never sleep on the flight. I catch up on the sofa after and this holds my head while I doze haha. Came in 6 days
carl_bishop
Smelled like rubber straight out of the mailer, no getting around it. I set it by the window a couple of days and it was gone. After that it's a genuinely solid pillow, my head stayed off the window the whole drive. The smell is the one star.
jayden_oh
Overnight bus back to campus and I slept clean past my stop lol. My head never once tipped onto the window.
-
hollyb
Got this for the drive to my sister's, four hours each way, because my head rolls around when I nod off in the passenger seat. The rubber smell was strong for the first three days. I've owned natural rubber before so I knew it would fade, and it did. On the drive my head stayed put and I woke up in her driveway instead of at every stop sign. One star off for the smell, otherwise it does exactly what I wanted.
dawn_ferris
Twelve hour shifts, so I steal twenty minutes in a break room chair whenever it's quiet. Before this I'd get up stiffer than when I sat down, kind of pointless. On this I actually doze and my neck's good for the back half, which is the half that drags anyway.
-
matt_ryan
The little case is the reason this one actually comes on trips. My old one took up half the bag so it never left the closet tbh
kurt_delaney
Carry case showed up crushed on one side, not what you want opening the mailer. Sent them a quick video and a photo with my order number, they put a new one in the post, nothing to ship back. Replacement's fine and the pillow does keep my head from dropping on the flight. Two stars because the first one came damaged. They sorted it fast though, I'll give them that.
Morncrest replied
A crushed case is not the first impression we want, Kurt, and we're sorry it reached you that way. Thank you for the video and for giving us the chance to make it right.
Ben, Team Morncrest
alan_pryor
I'm the guy whose head drifts into the aisle, and yeah a drink cart clipped me once, about as fun as it sounds. Every horseshoe I tried just let my chin drop to my chest. This one goes all the way around and cinches down, so my head stays up even when I'm dead asleep. Flew coast to coast last week and never once ended up leaning into the aisle. Took me long enough to find it.
kev.holloway
Beats the cheap airport one I panic bought last year by a long way, def worth it.
-
neha.s
Bought this for flying and honestly use it at my desk more. Twenty minutes w/ it on after lunch and I'm fine for afternoon calls
renata_vos
Firmer than I bargained for, and that first flight I honestly thought I'd made a mistake. Second one though and it made sense, it holds where my old one would just pancake flat. Head didn't drop the whole way. Only reason it's four is I wish it loosened up quicker.
brenda_saylor
Six hours in the passenger seat and I didn't jolt awake at every exit with my head against the window. My husband said I was out before the first gas stop.
-
Josh_T
I pack this last, on top of the sweaters, so it's the first thing out at the gate. It's not a small pillow, you pack around it. Before this a long haul in economy meant maybe two hours of broken sleep and a stiff neck the whole first day. On my last 14 hour flight I got six hours straight in a middle seat, which I've never managed before. Paid $99 and I'd pay it again without thinking. Great quality.
t_okonkwo
Firm enough my head doesn't tip, and it rolls into its own case in about five seconds. That's the part I didn't expect to care about but do now.
-
caroline88
Conferences mean a 5 am flight home after three days on my feet in a booth. My head would jerk awake every ten minutes for three hours. I recieved this the week before my last trip and wore it from the taxi to the landing announcement, out cold the whole way. Lives in the outside pocket of my carry on now with the case clipped to the handle. $89 and it's already saved me the nap I usually need when I get home.
farrah_n
I'll be straight, the rubber smell was stronger than I expected and it hung around four or five days even by an open window. I'm sensitive to that kind of thing so it wore on me. Once it cleared it does hold my head up on a long flight. I'm docking it for the smell out of the bag.
Morncrest replied
A sensitive nose makes those first days rougher, Farrah, and we're sorry it lingered. That's the natural rubber airing off, and an open window is the right move. Glad it settled.
Rachel, Team Morncrest
ramona_diaz
My inflatable one had a slow leak so I'd be blowing it back up mid flight, real classy. Got this bc a coworker swore by hers. Nothing to inflate, it's just ready, and it stays firm the whole flight. Not going back tbh.
hugh_traynor
a year of weekly flights and it hasnt gone soft or lost its shape one bit
-
GregP
Neck was fine after a seven hour flight, which I can't remember happening before. Four stars only because of the rubber smell out of the bag. I've owned natural rubber before, it's always like that, gone after a few days
cindy_walsh
My dad is 80 and nods off reading in his chair with his chin on his chest. Got him this and now he naps sitting up and finishes the book after. He's already asked me to order one for his brother.
Morncrest replied
That's the exact nap it's built for, Cindy. Tell your dad his brother is going to want the gray one.
Rachel, Team Morncrest
will_barnett
Flew to see family with our nine year old who cannot sleep sitting up to save his life. Put this on him and he was out for a good stretch and off the plane in a halfway decent mood for once. Ordering a second so we quit fighting over it.
-
ashleigh.m
Lives on the passenger seat now, crumbs and all. Old foldable one never held my head up on the 50 minutes home, this def does
toby_ellison
The pillow is great, the case is a tight fit and takes a second to zip closed. Minor thing. On the train it keeps my head from bobbing and I get an actual nap now instead of pretending. Four stars.
nadia_seif
Had a fit question before I ordered, messaged them and got a real answer the same day. Pillow's been great since, 10/10.
-
coleH
I take a four hour bus home most weekends and had been using one of those bead filled horseshoe pillows. My roommate has one of these and kept telling me to just buy it, so I did. Shipping was the one problem, it showed up five days late in the middle of finals week. Credit to Morncrest support, they emailed me before I had to ask and answered fast, but I'd still rather it had come on time, hence four stars. The pillow itself is firm in a way the cheap one never was and my head actually stays put. Slept about three of the four hours and got off the bus without the crick I usually carry into Saturday. My mom has already borrowed it twice.
elise_moreau
Window seat person here and my neck was always toast by landing. Not now, the side pads keep my head off the glass the whole flight :)
sam_rourke
Backpacked through five airports in two weeks and wore this the entire time. The hard benches at three in the morning used to leave me useless the next day. With this I could sleep sitting up just about anywhere, gate chairs, a bus, once a ferry bench. It clips onto my pack strap when I'm walking so my hands stay free. Best thing in the bag, no contest.
-
nina_flies
Window seat every time, I like leaning on the wall, but eight hours of that and my neck is wrecked by the halfway point. I was skeptical of the chunky shape ngl, it looked like overkill. Turns out that's exactly what stops your head sliding down the window. Wore it from the gate, took it off to eat, then back on for the rest of the flight. Landed with no stiff neck for the first time on that route. Really good
greta_holm
Getting the pillow back into the round case is a real wrestle and I wish the case ran a touch bigger. The pillow itself is great, it kept my head from rolling on a red eye. The case fight is the only reason this isn't higher from me.
Morncrest replied
Fair knock, Greta. Roll it from one end and feed it in rather than folding, it seats easier that way. Good to hear the red eye went better.
Ben, Team Morncrest
derek_lund
Two hour coach each way for work and I sleep both legs of it now instead of staring out the window.
-
TheWilsons
We fly to our daughter three times a year and my husband has lost the last two neck pillows. This one comes with a little case that hangs off the suitcase handle so it has made it home. Washed the cover twice, still looks new.
owen_reilly
Ordered it figuring the shape looked like overkill ngl. Turns out the bulk is the whole point, it stops your head sliding down. Slept a full transatlantic and landed fine.
sana_qureshi
It packs bigger than a foldable one, which is the trade for it actually doing the job. On a fourteen hour flight my head stayed upright and I wasn't a wreck at the other end. Four stars, wish it squished down smaller.
-
conormcg
I fly red eyes maybe twice a month and had accepted that I don't sleep on planes. Head drops forward, jerks back, repeat for five hours, then a full day of meetings feeling like garbage. My girlfriend bought me this after watching me do the head bob for an entire flight to see her parents. First trip with it I was out from the drinks cart to the descent. Apparently I sleep with my mouth open, she has proof lol
rich_delgado
Bought it for myself, my wife claimed it inside a week. Ordering a second one haha.
theresa_ng
Fourteen hours to Asia and I always ended up peeling the pillow off because my neck got sweaty. This one stays cool against my skin the whole flight, and it's firm enough that my head doesn't nod forward. Landed without the usual crick down one side.
-
lil_hannah
Proof I can sleep anywhere now. Layover got pushed from 2 to 5 hours and I slept 3 of them in a gate chair, zero crick after ngl
kiki_marsh
BEST TRAVEL BUY I'VE MADE IN YEARS. Slept the whole flight and woke up when the wheels hit!
otis_bramwell
The shape looked way too chunky in the photos, figured it'd be uncomfortable. Nope. Takes a flight before the firmness stops feeling weird, but then it just parks my head instead of letting it flop all over. Slept most of a long flight, which I basically never do. Four stars.
florencia_p
The round case clips right onto my suitcase handle so it rides outside the bag. That's honestly the only reason it comes with me now instead of living in a drawer.
-
kat.nguyen
Beats the inflatable one I had, 10/10 for the 6 am train!
jonah_reyes
work from home and i nap in my chair at lunch with this on, no more crick when i sit back up
-
Harold_B
At 76 I doze off mid chapter and wake with my chin on my chest. Not with this on! Nap where I sit, finish the book after
manny_ortega
It took me a couple of flights to trust it, honestly. The first time out I hadn't pulled the drawstring tight and my head still leaned off the side. By the third flight I had the fit sorted and slept most of the way. Three stars because it took me a while to get there, but it does work.
wanda_kessler
Flew with a bead filled horseshoe one for years and it slowly went flat, my chin would just drop. This holds its shape and cinches snug so my head stays up. First long flight in ages I didn't land with a headache from clenching my neck.
iggy_park
naps between lectures in the library chairs and i wake up without a stiff neck now, wish i had it freshman year
-
sully61
Shipped a week late before the holiday trip home, which had me nervous. They did message me before I asked and checked in twice. Wore it through a three hour delay and most of the eleven hours, slept right through the meal
lucia_ferraro
Faint rubber smell the first few days, aired out fine, and I'd owned natural rubber before so I knew it would. On the overnight coach my head stayed put and I walked off in the morning feeling human. Realy no complaints beyond that first day smell.
dom_castille
My partner filmed me doing the head jerk thing for a whole flight then bought me this. First red eye I slept from start to finish. She is very smug about it!
-
em.roadtrips
9 hrs in, neck fine. Friend ordered hers at the gas stop
mei_lin
I'm small and these ring pillows usually swim on me and slide around. Pulled the drawstring and it fit snug, stayed on the whole train ride even when I leaned into it. Finally one that fits me.
roy_alden
We drive from Michigan to Florida every winter and my wife rides most of the way. She'd wake up cranky with her neck bent into the window and somehow blame me for the potholes. Bought two of these, one gray and one black. Now she sleeps through the dull stretches and I get some quiet. They stay firm, no going flat, and the little cases live in the door pockets. Worth it for the two of us.
-
sophie_abroad
My mom made me wear this for the 13 hour flight to my semester abroad and I rolled my eyes through the whole check in line tbh. Landed without a stiff neck for the first time on a long flight. She's gonna be insufferable about it
grant_mccabe
Took about ten days and I'd hoped for faster with a work trip on the calendar. Worth the wait once it landed, firm and it keeps my head off my shoulder on the redeye. Asked where it was partway through and they answered. The star I'm knocking off is all shipping, none of it the pillow.
bea_santos
Felt steep for a neck pillow but I sleep the whole flight now, so worth it tbh.
-
MegK
Bought this for flying and use it on the couch about four nights a week. Twelve hour shift, cup of tea, pillow on, some show I won't remember. I fall asleep mid episode and my head stays up instead of slumping sideways.
curtis_hale
Slept the whole train ride with my glasses still on and woke up right at my stop. The side pads keep my head from tipping onto the poor guy next to me.
marlon_estes
I do overnight security and nap in the break room on my thirty. This holds my head up so I don't wake with a kink, and I'm sharp for the rest of the shift. Asked the team a question about the fit and got a friendly answer fast.
-
tomasz.w
Slept both directions on the 7 am train all week!
priya_menon
Bigger than I pictured, and it eats up real space in a carry on, so plan around it. Still, none of the flat ones ever kept my head upright on a long haul and this does. Three stars, purely the size.
yuki_tran
So much better than the inflatable I used to fight with at the gate haha, this one is just on and done.
shay_calder
Bought it for a trip and now I use it on the couch when I've got a cold. Keeps my head from slumping through a whole series instead of dropping sideways, kinda perfect for that too.
-
maeveOC
Eight hours on the overnight bus and my head always ended up on a stranger's shoulder. Slept about five hours this trip and walked off fine at six in the morning. Emailed about washing the cover, had an answer the same evening
delia_moss
I've got a smaller neck so the ring sat loose until I worked out the drawstring, then it cinched right in and stayed. Once I did that my head quit sliding off on the flight. Four stars, wish the toggle was more obvious out of the box.
-
brookexo
Squeezing it right out of the box bc I wanted to see how firm it was. Firmer than I expected, the good kind, it actually holds your head up. Took the 4 hour bus home that weekend and slept the whole way, head never once slid onto the window. Shipping was fast too, had it in about a week. Great buy
ted_valko
My head stays put and I'm not rubbing my neck when the plane lands. After years of the head bob that's kind of a big deal for me.
priscilla_dane
Six hour layover and normally I just sit there miserable because I can't sleep upright. Put this on, cinched it, and got a solid two hours in a gate chair. Woke up when they called boarding and felt like a person again. Wish I'd had it years ago.
ravi_sethi
slept the entire flight home for break and woke up right over my own city!
-
d_fitzgerald
Firmer than I expected, and it smelled like rubber for three days. Not my first natural rubber thing so I knew it would fade and it did. Slept six hours on the flight with two kids next to me, which is a first. Four stars
ned_ashworth
It's chunkier than the horseshoe one it replaced, so no, it doesn't disappear into my bag. Fine by me, because it actually stops my head lolling on the four hour bus and the cheap one never managed that. Four stars, just wish it packed down a bit.
gordon_fyfe
Firmer than it looks and that's exactly what makes it work. My old squishy one let my head roll right off. This keeps it centered and I definately sleep on the plane now.
-
laurenmb
Ok so I am a carry on only person, I will wear three sweaters through security before I check a bag, so there was never room for a neck pillow and I just suffered. My sister has one of those bead filled horseshoe ones and my head slides right off it. Then a friend showed up at the airport wearing this one and I ordered mine from the gate haha. It comes with a round case that clips onto the suitcase handle but honestly I just wear it door to door now. Slept the whole first leg without my head sliding down the window and got off without that ache down the side of my neck. My mom has asked for one for her cruise. Just buy it!
talia_gross
My mom slipped one into my bag before a long flight and I thought it was overkill. Landed without the usual neck ache and now I'm the one telling everyone to get it lol.
connor_boyle
My nan reads on the coach without her head dropping now, she loves the thing.
-
ryan.backpacks
Airport bathroom around hour five of a seven hour layover, still had it on from the bench. Those hard benches used to wreck my neck for the whole next day. Got three hours this time and walked to the next gate feeling normal
beau_rankin
First neck pillow I've owned and it's firmer than I pictured one being. Took a flight or two to appreciate it, but it holds my head where I want it and I'm not landing sore anymore. Four stars, would just warn people it's firm.
neil_abara
Two, three flights a week, and my neck used to be wrecked by Thursday. These days I sleep the short hops and land ready for whatever meeting. Firm, still the same shape after months of this, and it disappears into its case. Paid up for it and I'd do it again.
-
Cheryl_A
Two flights a week and my neck was shot by Thursday. $109 wasn't nothing but I sleep gate to gate now. Would buy again
gwen_ashby
four months of heavy use and it's the same firm shape it was on day one
dallas_wynn
I'm tall and my head always ended up hanging off the side or out in the aisle. This wraps around and holds it upright. Slept through most of a long flight with none of the whiplash wakeups.
kayla_brennan
Rubbery for the first couple days so out to the balcony it went, and that killed it. Underneath the smell it's a firm pillow in the way you want, held my head up the whole seven hour flight. Losing the one star purely for the out of the bag smell.
leah_okara
Got one each after we spent a whole road trip complaining about our necks. Neither of us has since. Gray for him, black for me!
eleanor_ridge
We took a cruise and the flight to the port was the part I dreaded, since I never sleep sitting up. Wore this the whole way and actually dozed off. Firm enough to hold my head, cool enough that I wasn't sweaty. Packed down in its case for the ship too. Both of us are converts.
darius_flynn
Bought this before a summer of work travel and it's been on every flight since. Around month three one side started to feel a little softer than the other, and I messaged the team half expecting a hassle. They asked for a short video and my order number and recieved a replacement in the mail, no return needed. The new one has been perfect. I'm on planes most weeks and my neck used to be wrecked by Friday. Not anymore. Good pillow, and good people behind it.
Morncrest replied
That's the shape warranty doing its job, Darius, and thank you for the video that made it easy. Here's to a lot more Fridays with a neck that behaves.
